Polygol's 1st Birthday

Thank you for reading our announcement!

We are proud to say we are now near Polygol's first birthday.

Polygol was first created on Nov 27, 2024. That's nearly a year! It's been a year since we started to endure the task of creating the best ambient experience on the web for everyone. Since then, we made many revisions, redesigns and restructures to Polygol. We feel like we succeeded in our mission.

What happened this year?

We released 5 major versions:

• Polygol 16

• Odyssey 15

• Lithium 14

• Sodium 13

• Oxygen 12

Over 2,274 commits to the polygol.github.io repo since The Great Commit Reset (Sodium 13).

Over 5 Gurapps added to the core list.

This isn't all, but I'm not really bothered to check everything right now... but you get it. We had a good year.

What's next?

We plan to make special events feel more special. We can't say what this is, but trust us, every birthday will feel even better than the last.

Ending

We are genuinely thankful for your support, feedback and continued usage of Polygol.

A new major version will be released every October. This means Polygol 17 will release October 2026. Internal beta testing has begun.
